Excellent Sunday roast experience. We booked in advance and requested a high chair which was already at the table when we arrived. Staff were friendly and helpful. Roast wasn't as plentiful as you might get from a carvery style pub but was still fairly substantial nonetheless and high quality. It's on the pricier side but you can see and taste where the money goes. Would definitely be happy to return.

Ahhh wow, the food was absolutely delicious indeed, and well, the customer service was excellent, too. I visited earlier today with family and friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed our amazing Sunday roast lunch. It's the first time I've ever been here, and I was very impressed with the quality of the food. Absolutely brilliant!!! 👍👍 So I'll definitely recommend this place to everyone out there, especially if you're looking for somewhere nice with a lovely atmosphere, wonderful friendly staff and fantastic food. We will be back at some point in the future, and all looking forward to it, too!!!! 😃👌

This is such a lovely pub. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is great quality and served hot and fresh. The Real Ale is always in good condition and delicious. The venue is especially warm and cosy in Winter. Highly recommended for lunch, dinner or just a pint of Ale.

Amazing! I got the fillet of beef to treat myself and it was phenomenal, I couldn’t help but share it out! I just wish there was more of it- the jus was amazing- this was easily the best bit of meat I’ve had this year! My friends all got some parmesan truffle fries and were happy to have them alongside their drinks The staff are so accommodating and warm/ welcoming I had the most wholesome discussions- absolutely full of joy. Couldn’t recommend a pub more!

The food was excellent 👌, I would recommend the sirloin stake, I have mine rare, and this was cooked to perfection. The staff are lovely and friendly. We will definitely be going back soon.

We stayed with our 18 month old and from start to end, the experience was outstanding. Our room was spacious, a large travel cot was provided and the staff were very flexible with anything we needed. There is also a field behind the pub for the kids to play in. The breakfast and evening meal were also lovely! Can't recommend enough, we'll be staying again next year. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable!

Brilliant pub. Fantastic food, great staff, and dog friendly. Thoroughly recommend I haven't stayed here as I'm local, so I can't comment on the rooms.

We had a lovely stay in the Lamb, the rooms were very cosy and spotless, maybe a little dated since we stayed there last time, a number of years ago….breakfast was really good and service was excellent 👍
